I can only tell by the series of expressions & body language shown here, but . . . the appearance is that Emma is making more than an effort to converse with this guy (with her?). He doesn’t turn her way directly to face her, seems to ignore her & her face shows a real depth of disappointment.
If this happens to be the case, it’s appalling. The guy seems to be a disrespectful, self-centered idiot & my heart goes out to Emma . . .
