Carlos S, that is a ridiculous comment. First off, most of her roles that I have seen, the NAJORITY, in fact, do not even have intimate interaction in the roles. Let’s see; Taken – There was, probably one kiss in the entire trilogy. Jack of Hearts – Not only did she play a phenomenol role in this, which, THANK GOD, was away from the type casting, but there was not a shred of sex in this I, only just, came to find out about the actress Famke Janssen recently after watching How To Get Away With Murder, where she played the only decent human being on the show and the role she played, was finally, thankfully, one that got my attention and made me realize she was a person behind the acting.
Also, someone who only cares about herself and thinks of herself as you say, doesn’t interview like she does! She comes off as sweet, modest and down to earth. Nor, would she be a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN if she was mean and only cared about herself. Let’s not forget about her stand with PETA. Carlos, perhaps you are just a sad fan who has objectified her and got shot down and is sore and sad about it. That doesn’t begin to justify you trashing her. Just because she chooses to live a low profile lifestyle away from the camera, doesn’t mean she should be considered “mean” or “uncaring of others” she seems, quite the opposite. I think you may need to own the fact that your perception of her is tainted with your expectations which she didn’t satisfy and, just because she is a celebrity, doesn’t make her responsible for answering your probing questions.
I find Famke underrated and extremely talented and, after seeing a lot of her interviews, don’t find her mean at all. Stop objectifying her. She is a human being, one with tremendous talent and very versatile in the industry. She is, perhaps, the only celebrity that has ever piqued my interest and I have a feeling, if given the opportunity, could be good friends with because she doesn’t come of as someone who is stuck on themselves. Not like you are, anyway. Carlos.
Very arrogant and selfisch person , this famke janssen, typical dutch arrogance. cares only for herself, not her family not her audience. She thinks she is a god and behaves less social then the most royal people. And Famke is only born for en fascinated by sex. That is what she is been asked for the past 25 years in every movie. Straight , gay or transseksual. So we know what her personal life looks like . She hasn’t any acting talent. just laying down and moan.
